Laminate Flooring

what is Laminate wood flooring?

Laminate wood flooring: what is it? Hard flooring material called laminate mimics the appearance of real hardwood floors. To boost durability and wear prevention, laminate flooring are constructed with a core of wood fibre and a top layer of other materials.

The Laminate Flooring's Layers

When making laminate flooring, three major layers are employed.

A laminate floor's top layer is frequently referred to as an image layer. A high-resolution photograph of wood, tile, or stone is exactly what it is. Even grout lines that resemble ceramic tile can be found in some laminate floors. An aluminium oxide-based resin coating is used to seal this high-definition image. This top layer contributes to the longevity, UV ray protection, and scratch resistance of laminate flooring.
